Ms. Ruby Buton Ward, age 86, of Halls passed away Tuesday, December 21,2021 at her home in Halls. Ms. Ruby was born February 25,1935 in Lauderdale County. She is the daughter of the late Erman and the late Zular (Reece) Riley. She is survived by four sons: Brandon (Tammy) Ward of Halls, TN, Paul (Leigh Ann) Ward of Halls, TN, Patrick (Pam) Ward of Dyersburg, TN and Chris (Chrisie) Ward of Livingston, TN. Ms. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, J.H. Ward, 3 sons, Johnny Ward, Alan Ward and Jeffery Ward and one grandson Joshua Matthew Ward. She leaves 3 daughters-in-law, Sammie Ward, Sherry Ward and Brenda Ward. Ms. Ruby also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 28 at Enon Baptist Church, Halls, TN with Bro. Bill Oakley and Bro. Chris Ward officiating. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, December 27 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at Halls Funeral Home, 109 N. Church St., Halls, TN.
