Martha Rose, age 81, of Henning, TN. passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022 at her home. Martha was born January 5, 1941 in Lauderdale County, TN. She is the daughter of the late A.W. and the late Carrol B. (Sanford) Thorton. She was a retired Hair Dresser. Martha is survived by two sons: Jason Rose and Jeff Kerr both of Henning, TN, Sister of one sister: Helen Salmon of Ripley, TN and one brother: Robby Thorton of Ripley, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence “LR” Rose and a sister, Mary Simpson. Martha also leaves 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Poplar Grove Cemetery, Poplar Grove Cemetery Rd., Henning, TN with Bro. Leamond Aurther Jr. officiating.
