Goldie Merle Hutcherson, age 84, of Chicago, IL passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at her home in Chicago, IL. She was born December 24, 1936 in Amarillo, TX and is daughter of the late Elbert and the late Alice (Smith) Miller. She was a retired Factory Employee. She is survived by two daughters: Teresa Davis of Cleveland, TN and Janet Arendt of Evergreen Park, IL, and three sons: Kenneth W. Hutcherson Jr. of Alsip, IL, Dwayne Hutcherson of Chicago, IL and Danny Hutcherson of Chicago, IL and the sister of one brother: Colonel Miller of OK. Goldie also leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Goldie was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Boyd and brother, Ernie Miller. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Halls Funeral Home, 109 N. Church St., Halls, TN with Bro. Donnie Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Dry Hill Cemetery in Gates, TN. Calling hours will be Saturday, January 2 from 9am until the service time at Halls Funeral Home. Due to COVID 19 restrictions: social distancing, hand sanitizer and face masks are required. There will be no receiving lines after the service.
