Evelyn “Lavelle” Gilliland, age 84, of Frog Jump passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022. Lavelle was born September 20, 1937 in Crockett County, TN. She is the daughter of the late James Virgil and the late Mary Helen (Baker) Wilcox. She was a retired employee of Advantage Manufacturing. Lavelle is survived by one son: Ricky (Mary) Richardson of Munford, TN and one sister: Phyllis (Jack) Boone of Friendship, TN; She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gilliland, a daughter, Cathy Richardson McBroom, one sister, Joan Shelby and two brothers William Harrison Wilcox and James Harlen Wilcox. Lavelle also leaves 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 25 at Archer's Chapel Church, 339 Archers Chapel Rd, Halls, TN with Bro. Larry Kendrick officiating. Burial will follow in Archers Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 24 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at Archer's Chapel Church, 339 Archers Chapel Rd, Halls, TN.
