Ellen Marie Jackson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ellen Marie Jackson, age 84, of Halls passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Jackson General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Ellen was born July 4,1937 in Portsmouth, NH. She is the daughter of the late Raymond Gallant and the late Edith Eleanor Ryan Currier. She was retired. Ellen is survived by three daughters: Karen Bell (Mike Kiestler) of Ripley, TN, Sharon(William) Whitson of Halls, TN and Marcia(Carvin) Pitts of Bells, TN, and two sons: Jimmy Fitzhugh of Halls, TN and Jeff (Mary) Fitzhugh of Halls, TN; Sister of five sisters: Priscilla (Chester) Osgood of ME, Patricia (Tom) Lavin of VA, Lucille Drown of NV, Dianne (Joe) Tobias of CA and Joanne Delisanti of CA, and four brothers: William Currier of NH, Robert (Jeannie) Currier of NH, Robert Gallant of Canada and Richard Gallant of AZ. She also leaves a Companion, Finis Harrison of Ripley, TN, and 11 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren. Ellen was preceded in death by her dad, Fred Martin Currier, two brothers, Fred Currier Jr. and John Currier and a grandson Robert Donald Bell. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. Wednesday May 25,2022 at Halls Funeral Home 109 N. Church St. Halls, TN 38040. Services will be Thursday May 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Halls Funeral Home with Bro. Nathe Ozment officiating with burial to follow at Crossroads Cemetery.
