Ms. Ella Josephine Gaines, age 85, of St. Charles Mo. formerly of Henning, TN passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Ms. Gaines was born February 7, 1937 in Henning, TN. She is the daughter of the late Charles and the late Beatrice (Steelman) Gaines. Ms. Ella attended Lambeth college and worked for Leader Federal Bank for thirty years. She is survived by one brother: William "Bill" Gaines of St. Charles, MO; four nephews, Maurice Gaines Jr, Johnathan Gaines, Kevin Gaines, and Reece Gaines; one niece, Melinda Dooley. Ms. Ella also leaves behind two sister -in- laws Mary Gaines and Sue Gaines. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Gaines, Charles Roy Gaines, and Edward Maurice Gaines Sr. A graveside service will be held at Halls cemetery Sunday March 13, at 2:00 pm.
