Edgar Albert Morris, III, age 38, of Ripley passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Baptist Desoto of Southaven, MS. Edgar was born June 23, 1983 in Dyersburg, TN. He was employed as a Police Officer for the Collierville Police Department since 2005. Edgar is survived by his wife of 14 years: Christy Lynn (Hamilton) Morris two sons: Edgar Albert Morris IV and Evan Hamilton Morris of Ripley, TN,; his mother Rebecca (Lovelady) Morris of Bumpus Mills, TN; Brother of one sister: April Morris Merando of Trenton, TN; Maternal Grandmother, Betty Hammock and Mother-In-Law, Diane Hamilton both of Ripley, TN. He was preceded in death by his father Edgar Albert Morris, Jr., his Paternal Grandparents, Edgar Albert and Lois Morris Sr. and his Father-In-Law, Al Hamilton. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Morris Family Cemetery, Central Curve Rd, Ripley, TN with Bro. Johnnie Michaels officiating. Calling hours will be Thursday, September 9 from 10 a.m. until 1:15 pm at Halls Funeral Home, 109 N. Church St., Halls, TN.
