Ms. Eddie Sue Ward, age 87, of Dyersburg passed away Friday, June 10, 2022. Ms. Sue was born November 19,1934 in Lauderdale County. She is the daughter of the late John Ed and the late Mary Ester (Langley) Herron. She was a retired employee of Universal Electric. She is survived by her husband: James Franklin Ward, three daughters: Carolyn (Steve) Reeves of Halls, TN, Ronda (Jerry) Heathcott of Dyersburg, TN and Donna (Steve) Throgmorton of Dyersburg, TN, and two sons: Charles (Carol) Collins of Halls, TN and James "Bubba" Ward Jr. of Dyersburg, TN. She leaves one brother Matt Gaines of Smyrna, TN. She also leaves 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 13 great great-grandchildren. Ms. Sue was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Gaines and Jimmy Gaines. The funeral will be held 11:00 am. on Monday, June 13 at Halls Funeral Home, 109 N. Church St. Halls, TN with Bro. Calvin Smith officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, June 13 from 10am. until 11am. at Halls Funeral Home, 109 N. Church St., Halls, TN.
